Got the XPS14, not bad so far, only thing that worries me is the internal battery for when it dies.

quote: Still a £160 more though. Toby - Had a Dell for 4/5 years and it's still going strong (apart from me putting a crack in the surround), as V931_FEF said, don't completely rule them out.

We got a few of them in a few years back through my dads company as they bought in bulk and he added a couple to the ordee. My died, my sisters had hers replaced under warrenty, my brothers died and my mums is still going but slow. They were excellent value for money at the time I'm just worried its going to be buggared the whole time.

Duno about this one but my sister has had 3 Dell laptops over the years and never had any problems at all. Don't write them off just yet mate :)

These any good? Swore I wouldn't get another Dell as I've had a catalogue of errors with one I had for 18 months as well as others that I know but seen one for £700 which seems the best way to get a ultrabook with the budget I currently have. |
