I regularly go over my 500mb.

They just slow it down until
Next month. You can buy a bolt on for £5 to give another 500mb

Replace the wifi antenna alexus

The antenna on mine has gone shit now - seems to have become a lot easier to death grip it lately. My (newer than my iPhone) iPad get's much better wifi reception than my phone too, which I guess is a pretty fair comparison.

Have you updated to iOS5.1.1?

If so thats the reason. I am experiencing similar issues as are a lot of other people!

How weird, I seem to have to connect to the router by sitting ontop of it, and then whenever I move I have weak signal. Wasn't there an issue with the ios release at some stage, made wifi buggy?

mine has started doing this recently too, but i have to be standing pretty much on top of the router for it to work. It did do this a month or so back then it just started working again on its own so i'm hoping it will do the same this time.

Its an old 3g model though so im not paying to have it fixed or even attempting taking it to pieces.

Sounds weird I know, but the wifi only seems to pick up when a lot closer to the router now than it has done. It's on various routers in different places, so its the phone.

What would cause this, phone doesn't have a case.

Anybody had this? What was the resolution? I've not taken this one apart before, so wouldn't have damaged the wifi antenna in anyway.

Thanks

Maneesh.. im not sending it to you before you ask, as I use this phone 24/7
