Yeah to release an app onto a device you need a license, but my point is - you don't need it to make the app. | |

To test and publish your app, you need to be a paid up Apple Developer - the cost is £99. Been looking at it myself as it could prove problematic for a current project. | |

Something I've been meaning to have a go at as a hobby is to write some iOS apps. |
