Sounds like Windows could be B0rked, if installing new drivers hasn't helped. Time for a format and reinstall me thinks....

Yup, re-install your graphics card drivers. That should fix it.

Go to http://www.nvidia.com and download the latest Detonator drivers

Right i have this problem with my comp, i noticed this morning when i switched my comp on that the graphics wasnt up to its normal standards i.e. to my settings.

Now when i open display > Setting > Advanced > GForce 4 t4200. The minute i hit the last part it says the following:

An exception occured while trying to run " Shell.dll,control_rundll"C:\window\system\desk.cpl",display"

Whats does that mean?
