I had a go on a HTC Desire today, seemed like a crappy version of an iPhone to me :o didn't seem as slick
, can you even multitask yet on the iphone 4?
Yes, in a way that doesn't eat your battery in 5 minutes. Either way...can of worms. :o \[bait]
Technically not true multitasking but hey ho.....
The main benefit of mulittasking is to be able to pick up exactly where you left off after exiting the app...which it does perfectly. A secondary benefit would be that the app continues to run once exited which in 99% of cases would provide no benefit( ie. games) but would still drain battery. If it could be implemented so that only apps that benefit from being 'live' once exited stay 'live' such as facebook/twitter that would be cool but would again drain battery and be pointless when you already get a notification if anything changes within said apps.
