Want to buy a Nexus S - it's fully flash compatable and it's pretty damn good at it as well. Got an unused one for sale :D

With Android you need 2.2, but it's mostly hardware restricted - cpu and gpu. But in theory anything (including ROM'd/Rooted devices) >= 2.2 can handle/support flash.

The new Blackberry Playbook is meant to be the first BB to support flash

Nice Ade so it seems to be processor basedto ensure a decent UE.

I presume Nexus S is too?

The tablets also

Steve I had an n97 which was running exact same platform with more ram etc and it struggled to play flash and crashed.

Cutter platforms can properly render it and size it accordingly, without ruining the script of the actual web page.

Thanks for your input tho m8

I only put nearly because I'm not sure.

I know that:

"Flash 10.1 will not run on mid-range devices with Android 2.2 like the myTouch 3G or Slide. It requires an ARM Cortex-A8 based processor like the Qualcomm Snapdragon or the Texas Instruments OMAP."

But they can probably run older versions

Do you know with Android why some are capable yet others arent? Like is it hardware? Or software dependant?
