er you can root it but i wouldnt bother it doesnt really add anything, android is pretty open to begin with.

Hi Guys,
If I have a htc desire and want to get the most of it, what do i need to do? I've heard that there is the equivalent of the jailbreaking on the android os.
Any links or info would be helpful (even through pm if neccessary)
