I backed up mine beforehand just to be on the safe side. Can be done through iTunes and doesnt take long, so worth doing first.

I presume it doesn't delete all my pics, music and downloaded apps/games? Wouldn't want to lose my. Calendar entries too.

Is it that it had too many wireless network settings saved as I've quite a few I have connected to?

glad it's sorted :)
probably was getting confused with a similar SSID name.

Not sure how to do the second one...the first didn't work and tells me the password is incorrect...

It isn't FFS I'm looking at it now!!

from apple site:

"With the network available, try selecting forget this network for the network on your iPhone to delete the network settings from your iPhone.

Follow this by re-joining the network.

If this doesn't work, the next step is selecting reset network settings, which will erase all wi-fi network settings from your iPhone. "

I have enabled MAC Address filtering and added the iPhone's Wifi address...

It's worked before just the last few days it's been a sausage jockey.

do you have to "allow" your iphone to access it in the router setup?

I swear I'm going to throw this iPhone at the wall...

My Wifi constantly disconnects from my Belkin Router...and prompts me to type the SSID password. I do so and the fucker re-prompts the password to be entered again.

I know the password is right as I'm on the laptop looking at the router page as I type this...its also worked in the past...

Anyone have any ideas before I end its life?
