I have a samsung ht500 which i love, did think about separates but wanted it modern and guaranteed to work well together and seems to do the job nicely. Maybe upgrade to separates when have decent money to do it properly one day.

Ah cool. lad at work sold one on ebay for 90quid, was knackered, some common problem they have, stopped reading or something?

Might have a wander into richer sounds tomorrow then, see what they can do for me.

but if im limited to 600, and the ps3 is 250quid or something, it doesnt leave much for the rest :(

the advantage to seperates is if you feel like it you can always uprage different parts in the future.

also for the bluray player if you dont go for that system posted, you should get a ps3 it makes an excellent blu ray player if nothing else.

i'm liking the tallboy speakers, just for the fact i wouldnt have to dick about with wall brackets mainly.

Will have a look though, cheers.

as kakarot posted I would go for package three then with the change you could get a nice onkyo ipod dock.
Ive got one of the cheaper onkyo receivers and then the onkyo surround speakers and it does everything I want it to (although I would prefer bigger speakers for the front for music)

A seperates system will probably always be better quality, depends what you want it for though, if not an audiophile and you want it to look nice an AIO system will do a good enough job.

So its generally better to go for a seperates system than an out of the box system?

I've got an older Onkyo with the tannoy speakers and it does the job.

I'm looking for a decent setup for when i move, i dont think my budget is high enough to get seperates, but i have found this, need someone in the know to tell me if its any good, or if i should go for something else
