I signed up for MobileMe so I could atleast wipe company emails etc off there remotely | |

Depends if you keep sensitive stuff on there I guess. Films and music don't really matter. Files and documents could be kept on a dropbox account. | |

Always worries me.as mentioned I have passcode on mine but there are always ways around things :-( | |

Its pretty much the same as an ipod. You can put a passcode on it IIRC, and after 10wrong attempts it will wipe all your data, but 99% of owners aren't going to bother doing that tbh. | |

Theres nothing to stop you using it over wifi, but if you was to report the serial number as yours + stolen, I would guess they could stop your device from accessing the apple store quite easily. | |

If a 3G one has an IMEI number it can be barred from a mobile network, should be nothing stopping it being used on wifi. | |
