I've set mine up just like this too :) so useful and easy to turn on and off gps or WiFi etc

There are quite a few apps for it on the market place!

Also remember to turn off Google Sync

What I've done is, on one of the homepages, push down on the screen until it comes up "Add To Home". Then Add A Widget - Settings - Mobile Network. I also have GPS, Airplane Mode, Bluetooth and WiFi set up that way. Then you just click them to turn them on and off :)

Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Mobile Network - turn off.
Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Mobile Networks -> turn off data roaming, turn off Enable always-on mobile data.

I'm off to Ibiza on fri and want to make sure i'm not charged daft amounts for data etc but can't find a way of doing it on the phone. Google has nothing useful :(

Any ideas?
