im not complaining, it was just annoying lol, the fault it has now is nothing to do with water damage, its a known softwear fault. a mate has it now to take a look :)

quote: So whats wrong with the phone exactly? Just because it started working again does not mean that its the water thats ended up causing this problem. If you got it for free I don't think you can really complain about Apple charging you to fix it

Sell it off then, better to cut your losses and wait for the new one.

quote: indeed, stick with an old phone until then if you have one laying around? plus, by then, the new iphone will likely to be out, you can sell your brand new one (boxed and sealed!) for a decent amount and put towards the new iphone :)

went to the apple store and they where useless, spoke to support on the phone and they where not very helpfull either, sent me an email to go through, if that doesnt work i'll have to fork out £149 for it to be repaired :(

apple are pretty good with repairs if it's in warranty! My first macbook went back 3 times for the same flaming repair, probem just kept coming back which was admittedly a pita, but eventually the replaced it with a brand spanking new better spec new latest model. I was happy with that anyhow and not had a problem since. Definitely worth speaking to the apple store

If its in warranty, apple will just swap it there and then.
