I rely on that to establish what time I left a club the night before

You can't use some apps like you tube without a connection to wifi. Doesn't allow it using 3G. Also you can't multi task and have to close out of something with the home button before opening another app.

Youtube app works fine over 3G but it'll use WiFi if in a wifi area (if you want to force it to use 3G and you have a decent 3G signal then switch wifi off).

Multitasking (if you jailbreak it there are a number of apps that will allow you to do this) is coming out in the new OS4 update which is released in a few months time.

Regarding bluetooth, it doesn't support file transfers over bluetooth (unless Jailbroken, in which case use an app like 'iBluetooth'). If you want to transfer over pictures then you can use iTunes or use an app like 'Bluetooth Photo Share' (from AppStore).

You can only use the bluetooth for hands free

I wanted to transfer the pictures from my old phone to the iPhone. When I activate the Bluetooth on the iPhone then search for it with my other phone it locates the iPhone but then whenever I try to send a picture to the iPhone it says "connection failed"... or something like that...

Should be OK leaving the WIFI on? Ive found (on her 3g) that it will auto use Wifi when in range and if not it switches to 3g? Or is that the Wifi in your range is unusable by you and thats the problem?

Also, it wont connect to the App store. I'm guessing its the same problem as the above :boggle:

Not too fussed about missing out on the new un TBH, I probably will only use about 10% of what it can do anyways :o

Missus just got one as well, they are very user friendly tbh and texting by touch is a lot faster when you get used to it than normal buttons, well on the capactive (sp? and correct tech?) screen of the iphone anyway
