quote: Do you have GPRS, Wifi and Internet on continually? You can disable them when you aren't using them. I turn mine off when the phone's sitting doing nothing and I had 32 hours out of it with 22% left (Using Smart Monitor) and that is with a couple of hours internet useage thrown in.

quote: TheReg carried a similar article, it sounds like they are going to cut back on the Nexus One and push forward on their next version of the phone which apparently will be more business oriented

IT'S pretty bad yea. I'm used to my old e71 that lasted for a few days. This desire, I took off charge at about 715 when I went out this morning. It's about 1/3 left atm. And I've not really been hammering it much today. The other day it was flat come home time at 430 ish. Good thing is it will charge from any usb with the right cable.

quote: well, the nexus was a bit of a task to see if google could produce a decent handset. they had a few issues with 3g connectivity and the refusal to allow it on contracts halted the sales. the desire feels better built, and has a higher ram memory. personal choice but desire feels better
