what version of nero have you got.

just select express nero and then compile audio cd, not mp3 cd.

it will then convert each file to cda

AHEAD NERO AUTOMATICALLY CONVERTS MP3S TO WAVS'S AS LONG AS U SELECT CREATE AUDIO CD IN THE WIZARD. THIS WILL WORK ON ALL CD PLAYERS THEN

now you done that, purchase a mp3 player and enjoy the difference between 12 songs and 120 on one cd :)

you could just import them in to windows media player and do it like that.

you need to convert them to wav format for them to work. did you do this? if not then it wont work on anything that cant play mp3's. convert em to wav then burn it and it should work.

Doh i am confused now!
What i mean is i dont no why they only play in new stereo ?I dont think it has mp3 but maybe!!Maybe cos lazer is better cos it is brand new?
I thought nero automaticly changed them into a format that could be played on cd players? I must admit my cd player in car can be funny, slightest little scratch and it wont work.

Think that you have to convert them to wav files before you burn them. unless nero does that for you.
Some cd players do not like cdrs I heard though

u answered your own question!

"Could this be becuase it is in mp3 format and the new stereo is able to play mp3s"

I have just had a cd burner installed in my pc, and burnt an mp3 on to a cdr using nero, bascily the cd well only play in our brand new Hifi downstairs i tried it in my bros cd player-no joy in my ps2-no joy in my car-no joy!
Could this be becuase it is in mp3 format and the new stereo is able to play mp3s or do you think that it is just cos it is copied and is not as good quality as a normal cd?
Or could it just be cos its a crap cd r? its the one you get with the cd burner?
Any ideas greatfully recieved, i really wanna burn some cds to play in my car!
