N900 has more toys and you can customised it to your hearts content, however the battery life is pretty pants (days use tops). But it's certainly the better phone out of them two, unless you need battery life.

Bart - "great for web browsing", not sure about that especially when comparing it to the N900 (or any other smartphone for that matter) as they can view flash ;)

Found a link for 30 a month for on the n900 direct from nokia retail.

Your Plan £25 + Web
+ 300 Minutes

+ Unlimited Mobile Web
+ 3 Months Free Insurance

So i now have a n97mini and n900 lol

But for just £5 more n900 is too good a bargin.

If you can live with the size of the N900 and the terrible battery life then buy that, it is a far superior phone to the n97 mini and the Iphone.

The size doesn't bother me but the battery life is a pisser, especially when you're scatter brained and always forget to charge it.

Ahh, I did wonder when I re-read is obviously the radio would be reciever not transmitter, no worries.

Suppose that could be of some use occasionally.

N900 has fm transmitter, transmitter means you can send signals to another radio, for example you can play music off the N900 through your car radio.

I listen to the radio on the N97 mini every day for work, so it does have FM?

Ovi Maps is now free, with voice commands as well

Haven't tried the N900, but the battery life doesn't seem too good judging by threads on here. the N97 mini isn't very good, but lasts a couple of days at least.

Personally I really like my mini, but if i'd waited a couple of months I probably would of gone for the n900 anyway

You can like apple all you want, if you think it's a good phone thats fine, it is a good phone.

Anything apple is instantly amazing.

Nokia's do everything the iphone does but better, the browser on the n900 is second to absolutely nothing in a mobile phone and is faster than the iphone, and is also open source and you don't have to pay £50 quid for a legal version of tomtom.

Because I've hated my last two nokias and fell in love with the first apple phone I had? Then yes maybe I am.
The Iphone has speed, ease of use, great for web browsing, great for applications, I use it for TomTom software, the only thing it doesnt do is bluetooth files, which Ive never really bothered with in the past anyway.

For the above reasons, I would only look at the Iphone/Nexus one as I believe they are both on par from what im looking for.

I ditched my Nokia after tha N95 because, as ive always thought their Symbian software is a pile of poop and going no-where fast.

I used to be a huge fan of Nokia, but not anymore. Its either Nexus one or IPhone for the time being for me.
