Cheers guys, think we'll look seriously at the link above and if not go through apple.

Would you still get the apple warranty if you didnt buy it through themselves?

Here you go:

http://www.laskys.com/computing/apple_macs/apple_macbooks/apple_mb990b_a.html

I'd rather spend the extra £60 just for piece of mind.

Wherever she gets it from she'll love it. So glad i got one.

You can get them from a reputable online shop for £820

Try laskys

It's best to purchase Apple laptops/computer through Apple themselves or an Apple seller just for piece of mind. Like the clown said, if she is a student she can get cash off - >HERE<
Otherwise you could always go for a refurb? They tend to be a fair bit cheaper - >HERE<

Personally, I dont trust a thing on ebay these days.

The final bit of text on that page seems fishy to me, something about they dont have any of these products and only sell them for other people.

Also the bit about only whats in the pic is included in the sale - only the laptop is shown. Surely if you buy from Apple you get more than that?

Is she a student? If so she can get it from Apple for loads cheaper as it is.

My girlfriend is looking at buying a macbook pro in the next couple of weeks. We saw the above advert on ebay and were wondering if it was legitimate and worth going for this at £150 ish quid less than the cost of buying one through Apple?

Thanks, Simon
