I just tried it as you said:



The checkout button asked me for address details etc., no other extras to add on there.

Funnily enough I tried there first :o:rolleyes:

They don't let you buy the phone for that price, have a look by adding it to your basket. I also rang them up to try and sort it and got nowhere.

I would have thought the obvious choice would be to look on the O2 website. :rolleyes:

You can't. Even though it's O2's network they use, a Tesco phone can only be used on Tesco as they have different network codes.

Tim, I bought an absolute turd phone from carphonewarehouse. Just ask them for the shittest no frills phone. They'll bring one out for you :lol:
Be prepared though... no frills, really means no frills. It was like a toy from the market :cool:

got a nokia 2330 on orange in asda for £20 - not a bad little phone, basic camera/video etc but not really any good to you unless you know someone who could unlock it for you

Go Car phone warehouse all the phones are unlocked get a cheap Nokia 1661 on virgin media £14.99 then put ur simcard in it

Hello,

My phone gave up the ghost yesterday and I need a new one. I'm with O2 on a sim only rolling monthly contract.

Basically all I need is a really cheap phone that can call and txt, nothing else is needed. I've been to a few phone shops in town today and they all say a phone has to leave the shop with credit :( The credit is of no use to me.

Does anyone know anywhere, apart from ebay, that you can just buy a phone?
