Havent read the link but usually the easiest way is to highlight both connections and right-click then bridge connections, also you might have to manually configure the ip addresses as my xbox would sometimes spas out on auto.

Ive spent all night trying to get my Xbox online by routing it through my laptop and got as far as the connection between laptop and Xbox was good but Xbox-laptop-intenet failed :( Ive tried every guide on the internet, ive read all the help and support pages on the Xbox website, HP website and home tutorials from google but nothing seems to be working. If anyone is any good at this sort of thing do you fancy lending me a hand and going step by step through it with me?
Cheers, Jon.
