From a quick search it seems you can use the DisplayPort input to use it as a screen, you'll need to get an adapter from whatever input (scart, component, etc.) to DisplayPort to make it work though.

http://www.apple.com/uk/imac/specs.html

There is the tech spec for it. It's the 27" one

Do new Macs have a Video In connection to allow it to be used as an external display as sorts?

You need something that will allow a TV INPUT on your computer, graphics card only provide outputs.

A TV card would do the trick.

You would need a tv in card/usb dongle and it would be a bit clunky.

Possible if you really really wanted to though.

I really have no idea. The box is connected to a TV atm but need to know what we need if it is possible to get VW through the iMac

Wouldn't you need a TV card of some sort?

Is it possible to connect a VM box to the iMac 27"? Unsure if there would be some sort of cable from scart to a Mac fitment. I've had a look on google but nothing new/relevant came up.

Anyone shed any light?
