Ive got the MBP i got it for the backlit keyboard and it feels alot more solid. At the time the new plastic one wernt out so didnt have the new batt, led screen and sd card slot which they have now, but would still recommend the pro.

Sooo. The only difference is the looks and sd card slot?

I thought there were issues with the shiny-ness of screens on the regular macbook?

I think if you're going for the base models, the macbook is plastic (polycarbonate) has 2.26Ghz cpu, 2gb ram, and 250gb hard drive whereas the base macbook pro model has the same spec but only a 160gb hard drive - the only other differences being obviously it's aluminium and has a sd card slot - but that is assuming you are looking at the 13" macbook and 13" macbook pro

Looking at the 13" MacBooks can get a MacBook Pro for £90 more than the MacBook.

Which do i go for and what features does the Pro have over the normal one?

Thanks, Simon
