Email handling

I've got a similar setup to that on mine, although much more finely tuned, does the job well.

As for sorting out your Apache performance side of things (or just general LAMP performance) have a run through this guide

Anyone got experience with the following on Linux?

Apache
MySQL
PHP
Java JDK
Apache Ant
Apache MINA
IPTables
PHP's mail() function (SMTP)

I generally need some help configuring my server. Willay's been great but I'm not sure the web-server side of things is really his speciality. I got a few not-so-easy tasks like figuring out how to 'cache' queries to RAM but I'm a utter noob when it comes to Linux. I also need help setting up a SMTP server so I can use PHP's mail() function. I'll obviously chuck you some £££ if you can help me solve these issues.

Add me to MSN if you're interested: luke@xa0s.com

PS. I'm running Ubuntu. Willay said it'll do nicely as I'm new but if you have any other suggestions I'm pretty easy going at the moment. I just need to learn the basics really.
