u jsut want back changing?

You need a plunger tool to take the screen out as soon as you have removed the 2 screws on the bottom.

They are a ball

Its kind of not as easy as that, everything is attached to the back casing, motherboard/camera/buttons etc. and about 11 tiny screws, its a proper ball ache to do. The back casing is glued to the centre chrome bit as well, you have to start by removing the bottom 2 screws you mentioned then prising the screen out.

I got a green clip on cover off dealsniper, was such a snug fit it looks part of it.. Trouble is with how clumsy I am, my iPhone has bounced a few times and now it's cracked
I've got it in a thicker cover now

Not at all Hammer. My works phone has a few marks on it so would like it as new again.

You can get clip on covers if all you want to do is distinguish between them.

Is it possible to change the actual covers on these - i.e. they are black or white, can i go from black to white?

Reason i ask is i have two. One is a works phone and the other is my own personal phone. I purchased mine a couple of weeks back before knowing i'd have another as a work phone. I could have a blackberry but i think they are for girls :o
