Bluray comes at 1080p, it doesn't upscale to it.

It will upscale dvd's to 1080p.

if you are using blueray it will upscale to 1080p if your tv does too.

This is most probably a very easy question for anyone that owns one, but can PS3's do HD-upscaling on DVD's? If so, what do they upscale to?

I may be looking at getting a slim one soon but would like to know this first.
