There's a list of nettops on Wikipedia should you wish to search for certain makes/models:

Would rather have a net top than a netbook...

Worth the extra £100? Differences are an additional CPU core, 1GB RAM, and bigger HDD (Gonna attach a 1TB external anyway)

I'm planning to run server 2003, or server 2008. Would this cause any problems?

Nothing wrong with stuff from the outlet store.

The only 2 things that slightly let them down is the SSD and a small keyboard

Yes I've seen netbooks on the Dell site for £200 or less (can't remember if they are brand new or from their 'outlet' site).

The Acer Revo seems to be better spec'd? I know it's an acer, but the built quality bit doesn't really matter as not a laptop.

Heat, noise, power usage are the main things.

Yeah, they come in under £200 with Linux.

edit: if you get the B202 model, anyway.

I'll look into it. Was hoping to get a base for less than £200.

Don't need an MS OS...

The place I used to work used EEE Boxes. Good kit, cheap if you buy them without Windows.

Looking to get a net top to use as a remote access server (single user)...

Anything better than an Acer Revo? As cheap as possible please...

MSI? Zotac?
