They used to have the 200mb allowance, but dropped it...

As long as you aren't streaming all day, using voip or downloading large files (Tethering) you should be ok...

o2 Forums link with more info...

iPhone - Best gadget ever. Nothing touches it.

On my own I bought the 8gig 3g outright (£350) then stayed on a simplicity tariff for £20.

(Works out cheaper than the 24m contact with the unlimited text bolt on)

I have an N97 and love it, if you after an Iphone as mentioned i would wait to see the "price war"if one materielises as it will be sure to create a slightly cheaper deal somewhere....

iPhone, but forget that contract.

Take out a 12-month simplicity contract (get £35 cashback though QuidCo. if you cancel this [you can port your number to another sim, then port it back at the end of the 12 months] and then take the sim out again online [better deal more then likely] and receive QuidCo again).

Then buy the iPhone on PAYG.

Better minutes/texts and cheaper.

I agree with that, wouldn't tie myself to the o2 contracts at the moment when other networks are going to have the iPhone in a few months and will setup some competition for o2's contracts, so they should, in theory reduce their contracts.

2 year contract doesn't bother me in the slightest.

 Paul, Andi keeps showing me his iPhone everytime I see him. Seems like an ace gadget.

I text a fair bit, but wouldnt have trouble cutting down.

iPhone is over rated, N97 will probably break down? Nokia Slide 6500, keep the change :look:

Nismo

iPhone all day long, especially over the N97, Nokai failed witht this produt again! N900 is round the corner too!

theres no point in going into which phone is better, but the iphone is no longer a fashion statement, its everywhere because its one of the best phones out there.

Neo

Firstly what do you want to use it for ? Because apart from being an overpriced touchscreen fashion statement, the N97 is equally good if not better.

You'll find its more down to personal preference IMO.

iPhone
£87 to buy
24 month contract
600mins
500texts
Unlimited internet
£34p/m

N97
FREE phone
24 month contract
900mins
Unlimited texts
Unlimited internet
£35p/m

I think the iPhone is probably a better phone/gadget, but is it that good that it's worth sacrificing a decent tariff over?

So iPhone people, what are the pro's and con's of them?
