:!

Are you mad man? I would choose capacitive over resistive any day! I've got an HTC Touch HD (resisitive touchscreen), and it's such a drag using if after I've been using my iPod Touch, which simply has a fantastic capacitive touchscreen, the difference is obvious when they're side by side. People argue that the advantage of resistive is that you can use a stylus, but I've never even had a use for the thing on my phone.

Capacitive all the way. Can't wait for my next phone, it needs one fo sho. I'm thinking the Palm Pre at the mo

Opened up a real can of worms here then. Think I'll go for the Hero judging by the majority of opinions on here, if I don't like it I can change it within 14 days anyway I think.

Hero cant even recieve files via bluetooth, touchscreen is awkward as its not pressure sensitive and it looks like a fucking bannana.

Average phone with hype tbh.

Tbh.. Capacitive screens own resistive screens.
The one on my iphone is the best I've ever used.

too true.

Bubble thats all well and good but n97 does that out the box.

The Hero has far superior apps and app store (all free iirc) whereas Ovi is crap so far!

N97 has qwerty, carl zeiss cam with lens cover and 30fps vid capture. Larger screen 32gig memory with micro sd expandable.

suppose its personal preference.

i love the magic, fook knows why needed software update for bluetooth, but it works now :)

magic has touch qwerty as well, camera and video i dont use, i love it i do :

hero can receive files via bluetooth with a software patch. the screen is the same as my magic, and its a doddle to use.

hero ftw imo

Hero, although I'd maybe wait a couple of months and see what comes out, hero is underpowered

Hi, looking for a new phone contract and I've narrowed it down to either a Nokia N97 or a HTC Hero. Can't decide which one to get, any comments / advice would be great. Cheers.

Nokia n97

HTC Hero
