Your gonna need something to process it, easiest and cheapest is to buy something with the dvd player i think. | |

£150 for a surround sound system, but in all honesty i dont really need a dvd player. | |

You need either optical spdif or hdmi to get 5.1. You can get 5.1 phono's but the ps3 and your tv won't output via that so it's not a choice. | |

Right i was gonna get myself a dvd player with surround sound but decided against it as the dvd player only has phono in sockets which i was told would mean if i plug my ps3 into it, only stereo sound will come out. not true 5.1 or 2.1. |
