Spoke with Vodafone yesturday and we came to a deal, they knocked 6 months of the contract to leave me with 3 months, and lowered my price plan to £20 per month so i had to pay £60 to cancel which im happy with.

When I was with vodafone after I told them about my signal problem ( pay as you go customer ) they were ringing me none stop trying to help.
Also T-mobile had a area down where my gf worked and were very helpful.

use all that info and get some gesture. perhaps sell the handset and use that to pay towards line rental?

Currently in dispute with vodafone with a similar issue.

I have a new office where there is no voda signal, now i want to cancel this contract and have spent countless days on the phone to what i can only discribe as the worst customer services team in the world, every day takes me 3-4 people to get through to someone who actually knows what there talking about!

2 weeks ago a team leader was forwarding my complaint to the customer relations team and i have still not head anything! i called up last friday and got told i was getting a team leader call back within 24 hours... 48 hours down the line still nothing, call up today and oh theres nothing we can do at weekends!

Ive raised a case with Ofcom and they advise me im well within my grounds to terminate the contract and they will deal with it once i get a complaints ref which im yet to receive!

been told ill get a call back tomorrow however im not confident in that going on my past experiance of customer service!

im surprised ofcom have told you that you have a case tbh. am i right in assuming you had signal before you moved to these new premises? if so, then tbh as a company i dont see how vf have done wrong if there is no signal there, as you have ultimately made the decision to be based there?

however, i would hope they do sort you out and provide you with some resolution:thumbs:

Yes had signal which i was more than happy with been with voda since 2004, i have 2 contracts with voda, no problems! Voda have not done wrong as such, I had to move locations there was nothing i could do about it, however I have to have mobile reception for my business to operate.

I just need to cancel 1 contract and keep the other.

One of my mates got out of a contact with this think he may of been with t mobile as well if they or you can prove that you cant recieve signal at home you may be able to get out of it worth giving them a ring...

Fair point, guess he'll have to complain and cross his fingers that they'll be nice then

You're paying for a service from them, if they're not providing that service then you have a right to complain tbh

im afraid that isnt true. when she signed or took the contract she would have had a timeframe in which to take back the contract if no service. if she didnt take back within 28 days, that suggests that everything was ok.

its now 3 months down the line, the network will tell her to jog on im afraid.

if you sold someone a car, and 3 months later they brought it back to you saying it wasnt working since day one, youd tell em where go!

No its not the handset its the network, she thought nothing of it before she told me it was shite, i'l try giving them a ring tomorrow its in my name.

I'm sure they'll try and wriggle out of it, after all I doubt it will be handset issue. You can always test it by trying the sim in an unlocked phone. If the same happens then it's the network. Depsite the coverage some networks just aren't suitable for places.

In Formby for instance the O2 signal can be bad that even the police have switched to using Vodafone handsets for their officers.

if she has reported it within 28days and they have said "try this try that" etc and it hasnt worked you have a case. if however she did nothing then it may be a struggle

if she reported the issue within 28 days she can get away from the contract.

yep, t-mobile are piss poor for network signal.
I can only use my t-mobile while i'm in my loft room. anywhere else in the house it's useless.

Basically my GF got a contract on T-Mobile and she just cant get signal in her area, had it about 3 months now and its just useless, my o2 phone works perfectly there and her brothers Vodafone one does, stuck in an 18 month contract with a phone that can barely be used when shes at home? In a 10 minute phone convo it will go off atleast 4-5 times. I dont reckon thats acceptable service myself?
