The bracket you linked to above will fit, a 100x100 one wouldn't.

this is my TV

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3336301/Samsung-R8-23-quot-LE23R87BD-HD-Ready-Freeview-Widescreen-LCD-TV/Product.html

But on the description of one bracket it says 'Suitable for televisions with maximum VESA of up to 100mm x 100mm only'. So am i correct in thinking that one wouldn't fit my TV?

the distance between the holes on your tv will be in millimetres to find the coresponding bracket although my samsung tv is that old it is not vesa compilent so yours maybe to if its old

Measure them then...

Not all TVs are wall mountable, if you havnt got a tape measure handy it will say the Vesa size (i.e 100 x 200 etc..) in your instruction manual.

They are all VESA standard and that one has just about every size.

That will be more than enough.

We've got various types in the house from £20 to £100, I prefer the cheap ones.

I've seen quite a varied price range on these.

But would this do for a Samsung 23" Tv?

Just seems really cheap?

Anyone had their TV on a stand and on the wall? Which would you choose?
