Yea, I turned it on. There isn't anything to setup on it though? Just put the sim in and it works :)

When I got mine, I got a temporary number off of o2 for a few days while my Voda number got ported over. I just used my old phone until it said Sim Card Rejected, meaning that it had been disconnected.

I have just bought an iphone and am keeping my number from vodafone. I gave the Carphone Warehouse the PAC code to do this but the iPhone has come today.

Should I wait until my existing phone disconnects from Vodafone before setting up the iPhone or am I safe to do this now with the temporary number that will be issued on the included sim?

If i set it up today will the iPhone have any difficulty registering the change in number when the old number switches over?

Thanks
