It's not really music that im botherd about its more my contacts etc. Ive copied over the latest back up file. Do you reckon that will put it all back on if it gets totally wiped when I sync?

It'll wipe the Iphone, as the new library will be empty
Have you got another computer you can store the music on? It can be transfered by a wireless router

Im just about to rebuild my laptop but what happens when I plug my iphone back into a blank itunes. Im not planning on backing itunes up as I have most of the music on disc etc. Can I just sync what is on the iphone to itunes? Or do I just need to find the most recent back up of my iphone file and back that up?
Had a look on the web but cant find much.
