Mainly talking about torrents mate. My connection is shit and disconnects every half hour or so... I've registered on orangeproblems.co.uk though as phoning Orange got me no where! But on the plus side at least I know I'm on 8Mb now :P | |

Try downloading netbeans from the sun website, I was getting 700k from them on my o2 connection so must be a fast server. | |

Downloading from P2P (i guess you mean something like Limewire?) means the person you're downloading from must have a good internet connection (upload speed to be exact)....more often then not....they dont. | |

Don't you have to pay for iTunes? Speedtest.net is where I done my test... just done another and got 6.7Mb :) | |

go to apple.com and download the iTunes setup file. Apart from using www.speedtest.net...i see this as the only other reliable way of checking your "true" download speed. | |
