If things are that bad, you're best bet is to just get hold of an XP (or what ever) disc and format the thing IMO.

Spybot search and destroy does pretty well and is totally free. I tend to allow it to install Resident too as it then detects when anything tries to change the registry (such as spyware) and gives you the option of accepting or denying the change. :thumbs:

Afternoon people,

Home PC is going extremely slow when loading web pages and sometimes won't even load them at all.

My laptop works fine so I know it can't be the connection etc.

Which leads me to believe it's spyware or something of the sorts.

Does anyone know any decent spyware programmes that will scan and remove any spyware/adware, preferably free!

Or have any other ideas of what i can try?
