This is the reason linux hasn't taken over the world, i'm into computers and I can't even be annoyed trying to install stuff on linux. | |

XP isn't slow or unstable and IE is the browser most sites are designed for so I don't see how the linux browser is better? | |

You wouldn't be better off. That version of Linux (Limpus if it's the same laptop I've seen). Is very stable and very quick; which as you only want MSN and an internet browser would be better than XP (and by the sounds of it, not illegal). | |

has web cam support? just got one of them netbooks by acer, and it has msn, but it doesnt allow you to make use of the integrated web cam. |
