Their shops won't do it, you need to ring CS. T-Mobile usually take a little while to get the code, but they'll send you a letter with it in and full instructions for entering it into the phone.

Its a nokia 6300 and looks like i've no choice but to got to tmobile to get it unlocked :(

phone up customer services and ask for the unlock code

then type into google your phone make and model followed by unlock instructions
it'll getyou onto the screen where you can enter the code,

May be a silly questions but do the t-mobile, orange etc shops offer unlocking services on their own phones? I'm sure i read somewhere that they do but dont want to look like a bell end asking for it if they dont!
