possibly but it seems weird that it charges up and works fine when the computer is turned on, it just wont start it

I went to turn the laptop on this morning using the battery supply and it wouldnt come on, so i plugged it in and it started up.

On the desktop it showed the battery being full so i took out the mains and it was fine.

Tuned the laptop off and then back with the mains still off and i wouldnt come on again.

It seems as though it wont start from the battery, it will start from the mains and then i can take the mains out straight awayand it works off the battery fine.

Any ideas what it may be
