Once you get used to the new layout i think it's much better.

Although admittedly i would have prefered it if they kept the old layout and just added the nice little extras like the font changing on screen as you select it etc

i cant stand the menu's at the top. takes me twice as long to type a letter now as i don't know where anything is. i'm a shit typist anyway but i used to manage ok. office 2007 = garbage.

I know - got that at work. Trying to do forms then add protection is a complete badger. I have to keep reverting back to the shitty Pentium 4 PC which we use for the fax machine :lol:

Its ok ive managed to do it,

where you have the 'font' box there is a little arrow in the bottom right corner click that, click the font you prefer then click 'Default', and Yes. The close word, re-open to make sure its done.


Thanks John i did try that first but didnt work for me. :)

When you 1st open word you can see a tab that says styles.

This style is used as default.

Modify this and it will be the default font when you start word.

Quick question, we have had some new fonts installed onto our computers and can see it in the Font list on Word, but was wondering how do you set it up so tht everytime you open word that particular font is ready to use.
