IT'll come. O2's SMTP servers probably arent as quick as Virgins.

quote: Everything is set as it is on my PC, apart from the security and ports, as it's just 'Default' on the phone. pow - the Nokia manual never mentions using the service provider settings. It comes across as pure POP3/IMAP compatible. Then mentioned Microsoft Exchange Server, obviously for networky fancy stuff.

 I'll check the ports that Thunderbird uses when I get home. Thought it would be something like that.

You have to set up security and ports on the outgoing one, follow a guide for gmail and just change the servers possibly, my gmail works fine on in and out.

Got my Nokia E51, all lovely, 3G + 3.5G works lovely. Initially set up my emails to receive it via IMAP and it receives the emails no problem, so I know I have the right username & password in. |
