Think you can un-install installer using installer. It certainly gives you the option to do so at least.

You need version 2.0 onwards software to be able to use the App Store.

Updated to 1.1.5 and "got" half a dozen free apps, but errr, they are nowhere to be seen on my touch - any ideas?
I've bought them in itunes, it said it downloaded them, they are showing in the app folder, I've synced the ipod - but nothing?

I refuse to update as I thought it was difficult to jailbreak 1.15 onwards?

you can get facebook off itunes for free, no need to be jailbroke.
