Whether it's a very good touch interface or not i'd say it was a good way to enter it.

People know the nokia interface, it's not changed much ever, it's easy to use, why totally redesign it just because it's touch screen.

Since nokia sell many many more phones than anybody else i'd say they know what they're doing tbh.

Cosmo, must be an old spec sheet, surely can't have wifi can it.

the 5800 isnt the iphone equilivant, and Nokia have made that statement themselves.

As James said the OS really makes it what it is, the same as Android.
Android will be good once its on a better phone.

The nokia software is the same as the most recent nokia phones with just some bigger Icons.

Looks ok but IMO the key success factor behind the iPhone is the OS/Software which other phones will never have.

Do phone companies think that the more they make a device look like an iPhone the more successful it will be? That one is like a carbon copy.
