ahh, theres a part on the nokia pc suite which allows for update...
currently v:3.1, updating to v:8.7.
think she's missed a few.
hope it speeds it up, its a god aweful phone.

ive got a nokia 6500 slide, worst phone ive ever had.
If you manage o update the software could you fire me a u2u and let me know how you don it and how you got on.

you mean software??
You can do it via nokiasoftwareuploader on their website.
6500 slides are nice phones :)

hi all,
the mrs has a crappy 6500 slide,
need to update the firmeware, as hers still has the original (with freezing issues).
can i do this with the usb lead, or does it need to be done by a nokia dealer??.
