You guys were right Sony's customer care is awesome. Rung them just now and they are bringing me out a new console tommorow in work, straight swap. very impressed :)

To be fair it took 1/2 the time for the PS3 to break than the 360 did.. and my 360 was used a hell of a lot more than the Ps3.

the vaio repair service is excellent too, one of our customers dropped his laptop last week so we sent it away from repair. a nice chap in belgium that was fixing it for us keeps ringing me with updates, which is nice.

was 6 months out of warranty but they're fixing it free of charge anyway

Yeah, i'll have to call Sony up tommorow. It's just the inconvenience of it all tbh. First my xbox 360 red rings me, then my ps3 breaks.. Next gen consoles FTL.
