Do you need the specific BlackBerry Bolt (only offered on Blackberry contracts) on for push emails to work? or does the Web Service bolt work ok?

yeah i read that, but the blackberry bolt on only seems to be available when you purchase a Blackberry phone and tariff. I assume it would be £10 (even though it's apparently free on all contracts that have 600mins or more) on top of the simplicity contract then?

for a blackberry too work correctly on any network you will have to pay for a push email service through the provider. without this, your handset is pointless.

Looking at buying a second hand blackberry (pearl or curve) and just wondering if anyone knows if there are any problems when using one on an O2 simplicty tariff (with the web bolt on)? Would push emails work? |
