Right update - managed to get it working through the DVD player, is it likely that i would not be able to change the channel in the other room when using it through the DVD player?

Sky signal won't seem to pass through my DVD player, when i try and use the VCR/DVD output it doesn't work at all in the other room..

It only works when i have the left and right auido plugged in on the rear of the Sky box

You'll have 2 scarts on the sky box, you will either have to use one of these or get a splitter to use one and still pass it through to the tv/vcr.

What you should possibly be able to do is run the sky to the vcr then the tv and hope it passes it through, at worst you'll have to turn the vcr on when you want to watch sky then use the other scart to the sender.

Do you still use the vcr?

Is that the adapter with the audio and video on the rear and scart on the front? I've got one of those but no-where i plug it into gets it working :(

yeah get a scart cable to composite, try maplins or ebay :thumbs:

Is there anyway of getting round the problem that my Sky digibox doesn't have a 'video out' on the back of it?

I've bought an AV sender but can only transmit audio to another room due to only having left and right audio outputs on the Sky box :(
