hmm, why do I need to use data transfer for voice nav? I did a test run earlier in simulation mode and it seemed to work ok?

The GPS is free to use. Just don't download the maps via GPRS, 3G connection. The only thing you have to pay for on the GPS side is if you want the voice navigation as well.

Ive used my WLAN to download the Nokia and Google respective SatNav solutions and they both use GPS 'backed up by a data connection'. Basically I want to use it as a SatNav but I have no mobile data package (and I dont want one). |
