Aerial was hangin off the roof, no picture at all, bought the cheapest booster from argos and never had a problem again. Moved house now hence new aerial.

Boosters tend to just boost the shite signal and just gives you more of a shite signal, but if it works for you then all well and good, id just use a booster as a very last resort :thumbs:

I paid £60 for mine, you dont need a special aeriel, next door was getting one fitted and I just said any chance you can put an airiel up on mine while your on the roof :o and he done it and then plugged it into my TV, check your local paper for a local fella who does it. If the signal quality is shit then Argos do a Booster for about £6-£10 which works wonders (old house had a bad signal and worked fine with this)

depends whats it doing
from roof clipped down wall to 1 telly cable just drilled thru wall and shoved into the tv then about £100 id say, theres probably £25/£30 worth of parts
anything more complex you will pay accordingly

Check your local paper for aerial blokes, most places have a few companies that do it

easy to do yourself, depending on signal quality where you are
