When I looked earlier on it looks like it first came out in 2003, if it was that one it will be ide, taking it out would be best bet though, you'll have to do that to swap them anyway.

It'll either be IDE or SATA, best bet is to take it out and find out.

Yeah it'll be a ATA 2.5 inch jobby.

When you get the new hard drive, you will need to fit it into your existing HD caddy.

My laptop is being teh uber ghei and it looks like the hdd is fuckzorzed, just wanna make sure I get the right one cheap off eBay (It's only a old laptop the missus uses for a bit of internet and email so not too bothered with it)
