its an Ei Systems. Laptop a good few years old.

Is is a Dell? The connectors can easily work themself loose.

We have them come in all the time at work and most of them get fixed by reseating the connector and drive.

90% hard drive goosed, 10% motherboard goosed.

Try reseating it, if that doesn't work only way you'd be able to tell was with a hard drive swap, nearly always the drive though.

When trying to load the laptop up. it comes up with a message hard drive not found....

Any one help please.
