The licensing applies to the software and not the media it came on, so yes, you should be fine as long as it's the same version.

Quick one techie chapperssss:

Ive got a fully legal above board licence for Windows 2000 Pro on a laptop here at home. It has no OS on it atm but I dont have a Windows 2000 Pro disk.

Won't get analy raped for downloading Windows 2000 install disk off the net would I? Also, any places where I can :look:
